About the Role
We are seeking an experienced M365 Engineer – Identity / Endpoint Security to design and implement secure, scalable Microsoft 365 solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Entra, Defender, and the Modern Workplace suite to deliver enterprise-grade security, endpoint management, and identity solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, optimize configurations, and support end-user productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Configure and fine-tune Microsoft 365 security and compliance settings using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Information Protection.
- Provide strategic input for identity and security architecture across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid environments.
- Support M365 solutions (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) for seamless integration and best practices.
- Troubleshoot Tier 3 issues related to Defender policies, Intune conflicts, and security misconfigurations.
- Define and implement conditional access policies with Azure AD for compliance and security.
- Manage endpoint security, device lifecycle, and mobile application management (MAM).
- Create technical documentation and runbooks for audits and operational transparency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of Azure (hybrid environments), Active Directory (on-prem & cloud), and Group Policies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune, Windows 365, Azure VDI).
- Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention tools (Microsoft Purview, Collaboration Permissions).
- Background in Windows server administration, virtualization, and enterprise security frameworks.
