About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and manage critical network infrastructure components. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and securing network devices including Cisco routers and switches, NetScaler and F5 load balancers, Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls, and VPN technologies. This role also involves working with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, utilizing monitoring tools like NNMi and ThousandEyes, and supporting IT service management through the ServiceNow platform. The position requires hands-on experience in certificate renewals, vulnerability remediation, hardware patching, failover testing, and legacy environment clean-up.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco network devices, NetScaler and F5 load balancers, Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Renew certificates on NetScaler and F5 load balancers to ensure uninterrupted secure operations.
• Identify, remediate, and clean up thousands of network vulnerabilities to enhance security posture.
• Perform general hardware patching and periodic failover testing to maintain network reliability and availability.
• Clean up and decommission legacy network environments to streamline infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and health using NNMi and ThousandEyes tools, proactively troubleshooting issues.
• Support cloud networking environments on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Utilize the ServiceNow platform for IT service management and incident tracking.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce network security policies and best practices.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain operational transparency and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in configuring and managing Cisco network devices.
• Hands-on experience with NetScaler and F5 load balancers, including certificate management.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet and Checkpoint firewall technologies.
• Proficiency in VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience using NNMi and ThousandEyes for network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform for IT service management.
• Ability to manage vulnerability remediation and hardware patching activities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
