About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer Contractor with over 5 years of experience in cloud network engineering, specifically with AWS and Azure platforms. This 12-month contract role involves supporting application migrations from on-premises to cloud environments, network redesigns, firewall management, and collaborating across APAC and North America time zones to ensure seamless production releases and troubleshooting.

Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Location: Remote (APAC and North America time zones)
Experience Level: 5+ years in cloud network engineering (AWS/Azure)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve blockers during application migrations to AWS and Azure clouds.
• Lead migration of applications from on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms.
• Support network redesign initiatives and update related documentation.
• Assist in firewall rule creation and application dependency mapping.
• Facilitate PSA (Project Service Approval) and ARB (Architecture Review Board) submissions and follow-ups.
• Engage in Service Acceptance processes and validation tasks.
• Plan and implement production and non-production network changes for North America environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain strong communication and documentation standards.
• Work across APAC and NA time zones: planning and troubleshooting primarily in NA, implementation and production releases primarily in APAC.
• Leverage familiarity with Experian’s infrastructure and ServiceNow workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud network engineering with AWS and Azure.
• Proven expertise in firewall rule sets, VPC design, and cloud network security.
• Experience supporting application migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of PSA and ARB processes.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work across APAC and North America time zones as per role requirements.
• Familiarity with Experian’s infrastructure and ServiceNow workflows is a plus.
