Senior Business Analyst (Contract)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep business process expertise and technical acumen to analyze, document, and optimize critical workflows—particularly within Salesforce environments. Your insights will drive clarity, efficiency, and strategic improvements across our operations, ensuring alignment between business objectives and system realities.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end process documentation and analysis using Elements.cloud.
- Review recorded demos/videos of Salesforce workflows (e.g., Lead to Opportunity) to understand current processes.
- Create comprehensive, reality-based process documentation using tools like Lucidchart.
- Map actual system processes via Elements.cloud for process mining and configuration mapping.
- Identify technical debt, distinguish between custom and standard configurations, and develop actionable roadmaps for cleanup/refactoring.
- Perform metadata tagging, categorization, and full documentation of business processes.
- Proactively identify automation and optimization opportunities (e.g., agent assist, workflow enhancements).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong business-process-first mindset (not limited to cloud platforms).
- Hands-on experience with Elements.cloud is essential; certification is preferred.
- Proven ability to create both “as-is” (client perception) and “to-be” (reality-based) process documentation.
- Adept at identifying technical debt and providing clear recommendations for system improvements.
- Self-sufficient professional; able to deliver high-quality results without extensive on-the-job training.
